Od 9 do 11 października Szklarska Poręba gości UltraKotlinę – festiwal biegów górskich i ultramaratonów, których trasy prowadzą przez Karkonosze, Rudawy Janowickie, Góry Kaczawskie i Góry Izerskie. Do wyboru jest siedem formuł: dystanse od 15 km aż po trasę liczącą ponad 140 km oraz sztafeta. Wszystkie biegi kończą się w Szklarskiej Porębie, a baza zawodów mieści się na Skwerze Twórców Radiowej Trójki przy ul. 1 Maja 1.
Utrudnienia w ruchu: od soboty 10.10 (godz. 0:01) do niedzieli 11.10 (godz. 20:00) odcinek ul. 1 Maja od Skweru Twórców Radiowej Trójki do ronda będzie zamknięty dla samochodów. Obowiązują objazdy, chodniki pozostają otwarte dla pieszych.

From 9 to 11 October, Szklarska Poręba hosts UltraKotlina – a mountain running and ultramarathon festival with routes through the Karkonosze, Rudawy Janowickie, Kaczawskie and Izerskie Mountains. Runners can choose from seven formats, from 15 km up to a route of over 140 km, plus a relay. All races finish in Szklarska Poręba; the event base is at Skwer Twórców Radiowej Trójki, ul. 1 Maja 1.
Traffic note: from Saturday 10 Oct (00:01) to Sunday 11 Oct (20:00), the section of ul. 1 Maja between Skwer Twórców Radiowej Trójki and the roundabout will be closed to cars. Detours are signposted; pavements stay open.

Oktober ist Szklarska Poręba Gastgeber von UltraKotlina – einem Festival für Berg- und Ultraläufe mit Strecken durch das Riesengebirge, den Landeshuter Kamm, das Bober-Katzbach-Gebirge und das Isergebirge. Zur Wahl stehen sieben Formate: Distanzen von 15 km bis zu einer Strecke von über 140 km sowie eine Staffel. Alle Läufe enden in Szklarska Poręba; das Wettkampfzentrum befindet sich am Skwer Twórców Radiowej Trójki, ul. 1 Maja 1.
Verkehrshinweis: Von Samstag, 10.10. (0:01 Uhr) bis Sonntag, 11.10. (20:00 Uhr) ist der Abschnitt der ul. 1 Maja zwischen dem Skwer Twórców Radiowej Trójki und dem Kreisverkehr für Autos gesperrt. Umleitungen sind ausgeschildert, Gehwege bleiben offen.
