Tradycyjnie w trzeci weekend września ze Szklarskiej Poręby (dolna stacja wyciągu na Szrenicę, ul. Turystyczna 25A) startuje Przejście Dookoła Kotliny Jeleniogórskiej – ekstremalny rajd pieszy przez wszystkie pasma otaczające Kotlinę: Karkonosze, Rudawy Janowickie, Góry Kaczawskie i Góry Izerskie. Uczestnicy mają 48 godzin na pokonanie około 143 km – idą bez przerwy, niosąc cały ekwipunek na plecach. W 2026 roku odbyła się już 23. edycja.

Every year on the third weekend of September, the Jelenia Góra Valley Round Trek starts in Szklarska Poręba (Szrenica lift lower station, ul. Turystyczna 25A). It is an extreme hiking challenge crossing all the ranges around the valley: the Karkonosze, Rudawy Janowickie, Kaczawskie and Izerskie Mountains. Participants have 48 hours to cover about 143 km non-stop, carrying all their gear. The 23rd edition took place in 2026.

Traditionell am dritten Septemberwochenende startet in Szklarska Poręba (Talstation des Szrenica-Lifts, ul. Turystyczna 25A) die Wanderung rund um den Hirschberger Talkessel – eine extreme Herausforderung durch alle umliegenden Gebirge: Riesengebirge, Landeshuter Kamm, Bober-Katzbach-Gebirge und Isergebirge. Die Teilnehmer haben 48 Stunden Zeit für rund 143 km, nonstop und mit der gesamten Ausrüstung auf dem Rücken. 2026 fand bereits die 23. Ausgabe statt.
